How we remove spray foam
We remove spray foam by hand. The foam is carefully scraped off the rafters and the underside of the roof, and the timbers are then wire brushed to take off the remaining residue. It's a slower, more careful method than blasting, but it means:
- no chemicals or solvents used in your loft,
- control around fragile roof felt, battens and older timbers,
- clean, visible timbers that a surveyor can actually inspect afterwards.
All removed foam is bagged up and taken away, and the loft is left cleared.
